and I have a little suggestion: may you have a trip in china? like bike from shanghai to Tibet follow national road G312（http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China_National_Highway_318）? this is most popular route for chinese, of course, it is a big challenge for all of us, I will take this road july in this year.

We met you in Assiniboine Provincial Park in Canada - June 2009. we had just finished our trek and you were camping overnight before trekking and then kayaking down the river to Calgary!! How did that go?

We think of you often and you must be near the end of your travels now. We wanted to tell you that we spent a month in Utah and this really is the highlight of our travels. We are currently also having a great time in Argentina. We went to Spooky and Peekaboo Canyon and Martin's map he drew was spot on. Unfortunately though, our car got stuck and so we had to turn back so we will have to return to Utah to re-visit in a 4x4.

Anyway, we wanted to thank you for the tips. We loved Utah so much and managed to get to Zebra Canyon on the same road for a look.

Hope all is well and that you are still enjoying it all.

Jetzt ist es ja nur noch ein Katzensprung nach Hause- unglaublich- also, falls ihr noch die 100.000 km-Marke knacken wollt- wie wärs´ mit einem Umweg über Linz? Oder ich habe noch eine Idee für euch: Wir (Gerda und ich und 38 Teilnehmer) sind von 27. März bis 3. April in Val Thorens (nicht weit von Albertville)auf unserer traditionellen von mir veranstalteten Schiwoche. Wenn ihr uns besuchen wollt und ein paar Tage freeriden im besten Schigebiet der Alpen wollt- nehmen wir euch noch im Appartement auf - es ist groß genug- wär echt genial!!! meldet euch per Mail, wenn ihr es überlegt

oh man, ihr seid schon so nah,jetzt kann es ganz schnell gehen und schwupp seid ihr ihr in heimatlichen Gefilden.
Wahrscheinlich werdet ihr diesen letzten Reisabschnitt sehr intensiv aufnehmen, denn wenn das Ende einer langen Reise naht, sind die Gefühle auf einmal anders. Bin gespannt wie sich diese Phase für euch sein wird.

Hallo Nadine,hallo Martin,
vielleicht erinnert ihr euch an uns, an Rolf und Ina. Wir trafen uns Ende Juni am Lake Louise in Kanada und verbrachten einen netten Abend zusammen. Seit Oktober 09 sind wir wieder zu Hause. Wie ich sehe, seid ihr inzwischen wieder in Europa und nähert euch mit "Riesenschritten" der Heimat. Vielleicht sehen wir uns ja mal, wenn ihr zu Hause seid, euer Zuhause ist ja nicht so weit entfernt von uns.
Wir wünschen euch für das Jahr 2010 alles Gute.

I FULLY would like to join your Union for Cycle Tourists another to add the the list... plentiful, clean water whenever you need it. Hope you two are doing well, I suspect you are back over in Europe now. Well it's -30 C here with 1 1/2 feet of snow, winter is in full season. Looking more forward than ever to beginning our own travels. Mike and I send our best wishes.

It was a real pleasure to meet you guys at the train station in Newark, Delaware and I'm really happy to say I rode a kilometer or two with you. I told my students in Introduction to Exercise Science about what you are doing and I showed them your website. They were amazed and inspired, just like me. I wish you safe travels and hope that you discover many unexpected gifts from your years of travel.

Hallo Ihr Weltenbummler!
Ich bin natürlich nach wie vor so alle 2 wochen auf eurer wahnsinns-homepage und verfolge weiterhin eure reise mit viel spannung. unsere beiden mädels sind jetzt 3 und 5 jahre und es ist einfach eine freude mit ihnen. Meine eltern sind zurück aus Israel- haben mit 62 bzw. 66 Jahren eine Radpilgerreise von Amstetten bis Jerusalem gemacht (in 6 wochen!!!)- und das mit unseren alten reiserädern, die endlich wieder ausgefahren wurden. ich wünsche euch einen schönen abschluss eurer reise und schaut unbedingt in Linz vorbei!!!

musste gerade an euch denken, weil ich dabei bin neue Postkarten zu basteln, wie ich es in Antigua von euch gelernt habe :-). Ich bin im Moment auf Gran Canaria und werde am Freitag Richtung St. Lucia in der Karibik segeln.. Ein nettes norwegisches Paerchen, die die Welt umsegeln, nimmt uns mit.

Lese gerade dass Sie mit unserer Biking Group letzten Samstag waehrend des jaehrlichen Pumpkin Ride's in der Naehe von Lancaster zusammengetroffen sind. Tut mir leid dass ich das verpasst habe. Bins sonst immer einige male im Jahr mit der Gruppe unterwegs. Ich hoffe dass Sie die Moeglichkeit hatten Mike Gavin's beer aus seiner Hausbrauerei zu probieren . Wo geht's jetz weiter hin? Lebe schon seit 1955 in den USA. Ausgewandert von Heilbronn am Neckar. Schon vor 40 Jahren(mein Gott) begegnete ich einem Ehepaar aus Heilbronn in San Francisco welches sich auf einer aehnlichen Weltreise befand. Ich glaube die hiessen Alhorn und deren Reise wurde oefters in der" Heilbronner Stimme " beschrieben. Beste Wuensche noch fuer Ihre Weiterreise und bleiben Sie gesund. Gruesse: Horst

Dear Nadine and Martin, It was so wonderful meeting you while riding on the Conewago Trail on 11/07/2009 and afterwards you joining the Susquehanna Ski Club Pumpkin mountain bike ride festivities at the trail head near Rt 230 Middletown, PA. We really enjoyed your overnight stay with us. Your pictures and stories of your Around the World trip 2003 - 2010 were magnificent! You both are so nice and inspiring. It truly was our pleasure spending time with you and learning of your adventures. We wish you the best and will follow your travels on your website! It was a great pleasure and inspiration meeting you two on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail in Amenia, NY today. I forgot to mention the recent grand opening of the Walkway over the Hudson at Poughkeepsie (www.walkway.org), the longest pedestrian (and bicycle!) bridge in the world. I hope it was part of your route.
May you complete your Grand Journey safely.

I met you in New Lebanon, NY this morning near the coffee shop. I said hello and inquired about your journey.

I mentioned I had friends in Hamburg and Berlin after you said you were from Germany.

I suggested the idea of having a tv crew video tape your experience. Nadine, you actually did not think that would be beneficial and shunned the idea. I guess I can understand how distracting it would be.

Nadine, I am glad you provided me with your business card - this enabled me to extend my greetings and well wishes to you both.

May you have a wonderful finale back home and may this "experience of lifetime" that you so couragouesly enbarked on "enrich your spirits" and "love for humanity" and may it show you all the beauty, good and kindness the people of the world really have toward one another!!

I believe I met you outside Walmart's in Latham, New york. You asked if there was a grocery store nearby and I directed you to Hannaford. I was tempted to ask you if you need a place for the night but you looked so independent I declined, wondered how you were going to get across to route 7, prayed for your safety. i found out later after I joined facebook that LauraBeth Couchey Abate from my church hosted you at their house so it seemed to have worked out for you. I'll keep you both in my prayers as you continue on your journey.

On Sunday, October 25th, 2009 I was pedaling through Manchester, Vermont, USA on the last 18 miles of a beautiful autumn Sunday ride of 50 miles when a lady came along next to me in her automobile - and while driving along next to me at my pace, she hollered "there are two cyclists riding around the world, about 1 mile behind you!". I pulled over and waited for a sighting of these world travelers. I then met you and showed you the way to a less-traveled southbound route along River Road. I hope that you were able to find a suitable place to camp!

I have invited you to breakfast tomorrow morning (October 26th, 2009). and am excited for your visit on your way from Arlington to ...? maybe I shall find out tomorrow !
